Game freezes to black screen at the conclusion of the Citadel II mission

I was playing the single player campaign of Mass Effect 3 from the Mass Effect Trilogy for PS3 and was doing the Citadel II mission. Once the scene where Udina is shot concludes and the next scene should load with Kei Ling at typing something, I get a black screen.  The first time I played, I saw the beginning of the scene but it was running very choppy until it just froze. I had to press the power button on my PS3 to reset. I loaded the game again, but now when that scene is suppose to load, I just keep getting a black screen. I can't go any further in the single player now. I have all dlc installed except for the new citadel one including the multiplayer ones and all the latest patches installed up to 1.09 if that's any help. I'm playing as a Renegade female Shepard, completed every mission that's available except for the Leviathan and Omega DLC and imported a character from Mass Effect 2, who is a character imported from Mass Effect 1. Please, I don't want to start over a another character just to have the game lock up at the same spot. Please help.
