Game improvements: Quicksaving, 6 ability slots, console unlock & modding tools.

This game needs: Quicksaving & Quickloading, The ability to use 6 powers at a time, & more modding capability so we can fix things ourselves. Spread the word, people.

Quicksave & Quickload are essential in a huge game like this for cutting down reset time after having made silly mistakes or trying things to see if they work.

3 Powers at a time is objectively stupid, even is mass effect 2 which had the least it was possible to have 6 of your own abilities equipped at once. At the bare minimum, a power wheel is necessary on PC so players can use their other abilities. But this would be a backhanded way of just adding 6 slots to begin with. Cooldowns would have to be increased to compensate, but if Bioware wants they could have the first 3 abilities be priority ability slots with shorter cooldown.

I fixed an enormous number of silly things in ME 1, 2, and 3 myself. But right now I don't have the modding tools to do that in Andromeda. Bioware should help speed things along for modders by releasing modding tools, obviously only certain things would be allowed to be changed for MP, but the sooner Bioware gives up its icy grip on SP the sooner this game can be fixed by the fans, as this is really the only way this game can become truly good in the long run. The most immediate improvement would be to simply remove the lockdown on the in-game console in singleplayer, and allow players to use all developer commands at their own risk.

The best quality of life improvement I ever found for ME 1 & ME 3 was binding slomo X10 (massive fast forward) to a key, dramatically speeding up my playthrough of slower parts of the game, like empty planets and citadel quests. Andromeda BADLY needs this, in fact this QoL improvement is so massive I won't even be playing the SP until I can get it or something similar.

Hm, I do think I should keep an eye on the modding community in future. It feels like the only reliable place for really interesting changes.

There already is a mod that removes profile/favorite switching cooldown, which I think is good enough that I now actually use four different setups all the time.

If not too hard-coded, only a matter of time someones makes a mod for more skills.
