How can I play Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer on PS3?

I've learned that EA has withdrawn the Online Pass. As I had problem with mine and couldn't properly log into my account when I first bought the game, I've ignored the problem and just chalked it up to some misfortune. Now I'd be interested to explore the multiplayer side of the game on the PlayStation 3 but each time I try to access it, it asks for an Online Pass. If I select to purchase one, it just shows an error and tells me again that I need an online pass to play the game.

So...how exactly can I get around to playing the game's multiplayer?
