How do I ban myself from another player's squads?

This morning, I landed in hacked missions (infinite damage, infinite ammo, infinite power cells) twice in a row.

I believe the same player was the cause in both games (because they were the host and the only other player in the first one I landed in, and because they were present in the second on I landed in).

Anyways, I do not care if my diagnosis is correct, I simply want to never join a squad which has this other player in it, ever again.

But can do I do that?

No you cant. Only thing you can do is if you see his name, exit the game or report to EA hopefully he get banned and you wont meet him ever again.

However you might meet other hackers ...there are plenty.

Gee, that sucks. We should be able to have an undesirable list, as least as an additional temporary solution to have people avoid playing with hackers and cheaters when they didn't want to, leaving those other people only playing with those who wanted to play by using these lame methods.

So if you add someone to your ignore list on these forums and on origin, you can still end up playing with them in mp? ☹️

I've been in quite a few games now where i've seen that and figured i must have landed in an Apex Mission when i joined.  Each time i joined a game that was already in progress so didn't really look what the map/mission/enemy was, i just pressed enter.

Don't know about damage, but i have definitely seen the power cells/ammo thing and you don't replenish ammo from the crates either.

    While true, that's not...

... well, so far, I have only come up with two workarounds: one is to simply not play - this is no fun, but does keep me from having to deal with the corrupt hosts; the other is to keep a list of names and then do custom squads that avoid them (or stop playing while they seem to be present).

A related problem, though, is wasting boosts if you use them and then find yourself in a hacked mission. It's... frustrating.

To ignore someone, click on their profile to open their page, and look in the black box under their pic...look for Contact Me   +....click the plus to open tab, and at bottom is add friend and ignore options...

To see your ignore list, then open your messages page, and you should see tabs for INBOX, SENT MESSAGES, FRIENDS, IGNORED USERS AND COMPOSE NEW MESSAGE.....you want to pick ignored users of course, just in case you didn't already figure it out....lol....
