How to use genesis 2 DLC?

Community AdminIt's quite easy:
Create a new character. You will have to go through the complete character creation first. I made a new MaleShep as an example:
You then click "Accept" and "Enter" to finish the character creation. After that you will see this on your screen:
Just choose "Yes" and the interactive comic will start.

does the genesis 2 work when you import your character from previous the 2 previous games (ME 1-2) or for a second replay with that charater and want to change thing ex: like who they have romance in the second one ... ??
The Genesis and Genesis 2 DLC are designed to give players the chance to make choices made in Mass Effect 1 and 2 without the need to play either game. So by definition the Genesis 2 DLC will not run if you import a save from either Mass Effect 1 or 2. Hope this answer helps.
Yeah but the original genesis for ME2 *DID* play with an imported ME1 character serving as a nice recap of what happened and the serious choices made with that particular character. I'm seriously pissed I spent money on genesis 2 but will never see it recap what my character did in ME2. Talk about a ripoff!
I've follow all of the instruction you've said. However, I'm still unable to play genesis 2. After created default male character and select the ability, it direct me to select between Kaiden and Ashley. Afterward, it continues to prologue right away. It does not give me an option to used genesis 2. Please help!
Did you choose "Action Mode" as gameplay preference?
The DLC shows as installed under "extra content"?
1) I've select "Role Playing" mode.
2) Yes, it shows "installed" in extra content
Will it only work if we were to create a new character?
Yeah it triggered when i created a new character but it doesn't when i try to import a ME3 character and finished the whole story.Yes, it only works with a new character. (No import)
The sole purpose of this DLC is to allow players who have not played ME2 to make their own decisions so that they are not bound by the parameters set by Bioware.
