How to use squad mates skills on the PC version?

For the life of me, I have yet to see any of my squad mates use their biotic or tech powers. This is in ME1. Mind you, I have played the original versions of all 4 Mass Effect games. I did at least s...

Thanks, I appreciate the answer. In general, I want to make use of squadmates skills. (And, in particular, I want to try Liara's Singularity skill. I don't think I've ever seen that one used.)
