I have come to hate the term Building Shaders
HATE Building Shaders. What the heck is this anyway? Might as well be reticulating splines!

This is absolutely true. However, it may not be random. For me this occurs if I play the game, then close it but leave Origin running, then start the game again later.
That's when loading turns slow and I am able to see the "Building Shaders" message and the numbers counting up with a naked eye.
In contrast, if I sign out of Origin after closing the game and then do a fresh sign in before starting MEA again, all loading is lightning fast.
If it is some sort of caching, then why would leaving the client running make things slower and not the other way round? Mystery 😕
well, currently it beats the loading screens from earlier versions of andromeda, now most i the time i wait like 30 seconds or so. in earlier versions i could watch myself grow old waiting for a save game to load.
