I own Mass Effect Trilogy physical copies, cannot download via EA application.

I tried going through EA Help twice. Second attempt got marked as "resolved" after a day without any reply or interaction from EA's end. No e-mail back. No addition/contribution to the case. Nothing. I cannot re-open the case and my patience is gone. I wanted a professional exchange about the matter but I couldn't even have that.

So here's my problem. After inserting the disk, it looks for the Origin app to start a download, but the EA app replaced Origin. The disks don't recognize the EA app as the Origin app. On top of that, the remaining functionality of the Origin app has been completely gutted, so I can't even download an archived version of Origin to be able to download Mass Effect that way. Therefore the download can't start and the disks and their contents are useless- bricked- to the extent of my knowledge.

I'd rather be able to use the disks as they were intended instead of them sitting around as a glorified display piece. I will not re-purchase the games. I'm fed up with that response and will not hear out anything that suggests such. Is there ANYTHING I can do right now with the physical disks to be able to access and play my copies of Mass Effect?

If you have already activated the games in Origin and are using the same account, the games should already be in your library.
You can download a digital copy of the games from there.

If you activated the games in Origin and you use a different account now, you need to get back to your old account.
The games are bound to the account they are activated on and there is no way to activate them on a different account again.

If you did not activated the games before:

In EA app > Go to your Library > Click on "Redeem Code" > Insert the code of your Disc version > Next.

Thank you. On top of answering my question, that's one response more than what EA themselves gave me. I appreciate it.
