Illusive Man Suicide Problem

I have read everywhere that in order for you to get the very last Paragon/Renegade conversation option with the Illusive man at the very end, you need to do EVERY one before you get to him. I renegaded him EVERY conversation I had, and that includes getting those options with the left side conversation options. I STILL was not able to get the very last renegade option, which is upsetting cause I fulfilled all the requirements for it that were stating everywhere. I would like to know if anyone else had this problem or if I needed to do something else, but I swear I did EVERY renegade choice you could, but still the very last one was grayed out.
