Tragedies aren't "good", they aren't "artistic", or any of that. They just plain s*ck. If I want a tragedy, I have real-life for that. I don't need it in my fantasy shows also. 😞

@DvveeboGeez, you're one of those weird, chaotic people who just loves a "good tragedy", aren't you? Whatever happened to a good, old-fashioned happy ending?

Lmao. You could be right in that judgement. But this isn't to say I don't enjoy happy endings.
I love happy endings too. If there were too many happy endings; I might not appreciate a good happy ending.
Perhaps it's that there aren't enough observable tragedies in my field of vision, so I've grown fond of them in their absence?
Everything in contrast moderation.

When ME2 came out and I saw a lot of the choices I made in ME1 carried over and resulted in how ME2 ended, I thought that was awesome!
Then, when I heard ME3 was coming out to end the reaper threat once-and-for-all... I was ecstatic! Think about it... ALL the choices in ME1, ALL the choices in ME2, ALL the choices in ME3, all culminating in one GLORIOUS custom ending... I simply couldn't wait!
Then, we get to the ending of ME3, and it was basically choose curtain 1, 2, or 3... and they were all identical. (mostly) That meant ALL the choices in 1, 2, and 3, made absolutely no difference at all in the ending. So, why did I even play them? Why should I even bother playing them again if they have no effect on the ending?
But the 100% identical endings isn't.
That's ironic.
Most of the choices you made throughout the entire trilogy playthrough lead to identical outcomes.
Mass Effect 2 didn't care about most of the choices I previously made...
Me2 took away all my previous tightknit NPCS and made me have to rekindle their relationship with my Shepard.
Also something about Udina and Anderson but I can't remember that bit - I think I'm repressing it. It'll come flooding back to me, along with the rush of rage, when I play the legendary edition... No doubt.
But I decided I didn't mind the lack of actual choices in Mass Effect when I questioned how much choice exists in real life.
(Eat one dish, or the other? Either way, I'm going to get the same result. ->Become disappointed, gassy, and hungry again later.)
But whatever... XD
