Exactly what @holger1405 just said. They are nothing alike.
I own both and love ME:A (warts and all) but can't stand Anthem.
@ThandalNLyman at least, the game(anthem) is still alive, still have people(not few) playing this.then ME:A stop update for SP, and i didn't know do there was any updates to this game(MP, they said they are focus on this contents only),however, anthem still got updates
