Is the Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer still online in 2017?

Hello everyone recently bought mass effect 3 collectors edition in the Origin sale and was hoping to play the multiplayer but I cannot seem to access it. The menu option for multiplayer is not coming up was wondering if this feature is still accessible in the game? I used to play it on Playstation 3 back in the day and enjoyed the online. Was hoping to revisit it and have a game with a few friends online if possible.

    MP is still up and running.

    There is no Multiplayer option in the Main-screen of the game? Can you post a screenshot?

    Can you logon to the Alliance network?

    Did you happen to install the controller mod? If so, this disables the Multiplayer in game because it only works for Single player. There is another mod to install exclusively for Multiplayer. With the Mass Effect 3 Mod Manager, it's pretty easy (if time consuming) to switch between those mods.
