Mass Effect 3 Could Not Activate

Hi, I was playing Mass Effect 3 single player and multiplayer without problems a few days ago and now it says "could not activate", I've tried many ways to solve it like deleting the License folder multiple times but the issue persists, can somebody help me with this? or should I just uninstall the game and forget it existed?

    Hey there, this error can usually be fixed by clearing the temp files and deleting the license folder: 

    Delete EA License Files:

    • Make sure the EA app is closed.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
    • Delete all files in the "License" folder.

    Please clear your temp files:

    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
    • Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
    • Your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
    • (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

    I'm sorry to hear that. Did you recently sign up for EA Play or purchase a different version of ME3 by any chance?

    No, I was playing normally, stopped playing a couple of days and when I came back the game shows that now.

    I tried that too. I created a ticket or case but it doesn't show in my list of cases, I had to choose Mass Effect 1 cuz Mass Effect 3 isn't even in the list of games anymore.

    If the game you're looking for is not shown in the list, you can use the EA app as the product. If the case is not showing up in your list of cases, please try creating a new one to make sure it's gone through to the support team. Also, if you select the EA app as the product and "Update EA account" as the topic, you should be able to start a chat.

  • Well, I give up, I wasted way too much time already on this crap, I can't even reinstall the EA app now after following the instructions to uninstall with revo uninstaller, all my games gone, ty for nothing, never buying from this company again, hope it goes down in flames. Bye.
