Thank you for responding to my post, @holger1405.
The current OS I’m using is Windows XP and the version of origin is 9.12. Since that is the case, will I still need to uninstall the origin I currently have and install the version you provided? Also, if I do need to install the new version, will the “Add or Remove Programs” be sufficient to remove the old origin, or will I also need to remove shortcuts and such associated with the games I currently have downloaded?
No, on XP 9.12 is the right version of Origin.
The problem is that this is a legacy version of Origin and as far as I know Origin was not even fully compatible to XP in that version. But I am not sure about that.
I will ask around and will update you later.
