Mass Effect 1 patch v1.02 doesn't work
I get stuck at Fero's elevator, i did some research and people say that installing patch 1.02 will fix this error but everytime i run the patch it says "Mass Effect not found please reinstall the gam...

Okay, now I see. The patch is installed, but the game still won't launch.
How are you verifying that the patch is installed?
I just checked the .exe like the instructions say, and the date is correct. I did finally get the game to run, I had to do the compatibility thing (I always forget that Win 7 has that function/feature.)
