I get stuck at Fero's elevator, i did some research and people say that installing patch 1.02 will fix this error but everytime i run the patch it says "Mass Effect not found please reinstall the game" .. What should i do? I just checked the .exe like the instructions say, and the date is correct. I did finally get the game to run, I had to do the compatibility thing (I always forget that Win 7 has that function/feature.)

I think you're confusing me with someone else. I didn't post about that bug. I did have it with my old XP machine, but I lost all my game saves when that one died. I always just saved each time before I got on the elevator, and if I got stuck, I'd just restart the game and that usually fixed it... is there a better way to deal with the elevator bug on Feros?
