I am having the exact same problem with Mass Effect 1 from the trilogy on my PC. I installed the game this morning with Origin and after the installation when I try to launch it a "launching" screen appears with "syncing cloud data" and then nothing happens. I have tried all ways that I could think of to launch the game, through origin, start menu, and from the file explorer. Nothing has worked, please someone give an idea of what could be done to fix this. My system information is below.
Operating System: Windows 8, 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 cpu Q740 @ 1.73 GHz
Ram: 4GB
Hard Drive Space Available: 74GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GT 330M version 310.70
Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio
