    Your drivers are up to date?

    Did you tried to disable "Dynamic shadows" in game?

    Do you have a monitor with a Smart Contrast Ratio option?

    If the issue persists do you have a screenshot or even a camera pic of the screen. I'd also be interested in whether the issue exists in both fullscreen and Windowed mode.

    Cheers.

  • Go to your instalation directory - Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME2\BioGame\Config
    And edit the "GamerSettings" file with a notepad; and add a new line "DepthOfField=False" without the quotes, below [SystemSettings].

    It should look something like this:

    [AppCompat]
    CompatLevelComposite=5
    CompatLevelCPU=5
    CompatLevelGPU=5

    [SystemSettings]
    DepthOfField=False
    BorderlessWindow=False
    Fullscreen=True
    QualityBloom=False
    DynamicShadows=True
    LightEnvironmentShadows=True
    MaxCharacterCinematicLightingPasses=3
    EnableLightEnvSHLights=True
    MotionBlur=False
    FilmGrain=False
    ResX=2560
    ResY=1440
    MouseSensitivity=30
    UseMouseDampening=False
    UseVsync=False
    AntiAliasing=False
    DynamicResolution=0
    AmbientOcclusion=True
    MonitorIndex=0
    CappedFramerateIndex=2
    MaxFrameRate=120

    [HDR]
    DesiredRange=DynamicRange_SDR
