Mass Effect 2 Original Login Timeout
Hello, this is specifically for the ORIGINAL Mass Effect 2, *not* Legendary Edition. I bought it years ago when it was new, on Steam, and at some point it migrated to Origin and now to EA App.
I'm having an issue right now where logging in to EA with my email and password - both valid - times out.
Hours ago, it would log in fine, and all of the classic DLC was installed, and it all validated just fine, and the Cerberus UI was "open" on the main menu.
I played a bit, then saved and quit.
Upon launching the game again, it keeps timing out when I enter my credentials.
1. Is there a solution or is it just the servers and I should wait a bit?
2. Since all the DLC had been validated and I saved a game on that profile, can I ignore signing in for now and continue that save *WITH* the DLC anyway?
The save loads fine. Is there an easy way to check my DLC is loaded ingame?

(I am not in a position to purchase the LE and logging in worked just fine hours ago, so respectfully, please do not suggest I get the LE)
And of course, one more try and it worked.
For anyone reading this... I think I just had to wait a few seconds longer after booting up the game.
