Mass Effect 2 problem - physX 9.09.0814 wont launch

So the problem is when i launch MS 2 it says failed to initialize the physic system... i have read many topics and forums about this probem and i have tried the basics which is to delete the Nvidia physx from control panel. I have actually done that even before i got to play MS 2 because there was a similar problem with the game tribes:ascend. Still it didnt work. same issue.

so then i deleted all physx files from my C drive and re installed the game. I thought the game would automatically search the right physx version. still it wont work. and when i try to start physX 9.09.0814 manually from steam files it says unrecoverable error. install interrupted. same problem occurs when i try to download the physx from Nvidias own website. so im kinda out of options.
