Mass Effect 3 - Insanity achievement

Hi,

I'm going to get the "Insanity" achievement to complete Mass Effect 3 (on XBox 360).
Since I accidentally changed the difficulty of the game,  could you tell me if I have to start  again a new game or can I continue loading the savegame made before the change of difficulty? (The info on difficulty change is stored on savegame or on game session?)
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Congratulations for this great game! 🙂

Best regards,
Cosimo

If you started the game already you can still change the difficulty as long as you have not beaten the first mission on Earth. If you progress beyond that, you need to stick to the insanity difficulty if you want to get the achievement at the end of the game.

  • Hi,

so I can't reload a previous savegame where the insanity difficulty hasn't been changed yet?

I ask you for confirmation to avoid continuing the current campaign and not get the achievement at the end.

I'll have to start a new campaign?

    Thanks very much.

    Best regards,

If you launch your savegame before you changed the difficulty, the game should not remember that you changed it before.

  • Hi,

I loaded my last savegame (in which I was sure I had never changed the difficulty), I made the last missions and got the achievement at the end of game!
    Thanks again.

    Best regards,
