@jclemson4 @MsYutani @jcvm88 - thanks for confirmation!
I'll check with our Origin team what might be the issue here and come back to you once I get any updates.
/Ataashi
Have you been able to check with the team? I am at the point where this DLC would kick in and I would like to finish the game with the updated ending.

We're still investigating this issue. I will keep the thread updated with any news.
Thank you for your patience so far!

I had this same issue and after chatting with EA Support they said if you have the latest version then the Extended Cut DLC is built into the game. That's why you won't be able to see it in the add-on section.
That just isn't true. I also spoke to EA support. Evidently they don't know what they're talking about.
I definitely had the latest version installed and the extended content folder was missing from the installation directory.
Fortunately I was able to acquire the DLC via other means, paste it in there and experience the full ending in all its glory.
For those having the same issue and want to finish the game without waiting an eternity for EA to maybe sort things out - I'd advise doing the same.

Have you heard anything from anyone on this issue? It has been a while and I wanted to check in.
- 7 years agoHas there been any news?
- 4e65135f17772e137 years agoNewcomerI tried contacting EA support. Was met with someone argumentative who insisted it was paid DLC. Can echo what others say which is that CS doesn't know anything about this issue.

Checking in again to see if there has been any investigation findings. Thanks.

I have also recently encoutered this problem, checking in this thread just in case there's ever an update.

Origin support was able to manually trigger a download for Extended Cut for me.
It still doesn't show in my Extra Content section of ME3. But at least it is downloaded!
Took about 10-15 with support before they made it happen.
I can confirm it does work!
- 6 years ago@JoBrittain Where did you find the DLC by other means? I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
- 6 years ago@Vaperizer66 Any idea if the better ending is built into the WiiU version? As it came out later
- holger14056 years agoHero+
The Extended Cut is indeed included in the WiiU version of the game.
- 6 years ago@holger1405 Thanks for reply! I've only picked it up this year but am enjoying so far so glad the better ending is there to come!

I'm having the same issue. I tried to contact EA support but they said the DLC isn't available anymore and that they'd take my feedback which doesn't help...
I know I don't have the DLC because I just played through the ending and it was the original one. Is there something special I need to say to EA support to get this?
- holger14055 years agoHero+
You play on the WiiU as well?
No, I play on PC (Origin). The support rep told me the DLC is not available anymore which seems odd.
- mcsupersport5 years agoHero+
That is odd, as it still shows extended cut DLC in my extras tab in Origin app.
- holger14055 years agoHero+
As @mcsupersport rightly said, what the support rep told you is just plain wrong.
What does it say about the DLC under the "Extra Content" Tab?
It just doesn't exist.

I can try with a different support rep, just seeing if there is something I should be saying so they'll unlock it for me.

Try to clear your Origin cache.
All settings in Origin (only in Origin not in the games) are back to default settings after this.)- Close Origin completely.
(right click on the Origin symbol in the task bar > close) - Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%/Origin" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
- Delete all the files and folders in the Origin folder, except for the "LocalContent" folder.
(The "LocalContent" folder must remain untouched.) - Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%AppData%" (without quotes) into the new window > hit ENTER
- Now your Windows explorer should have brought you to your "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Roaming" folder.
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Roaming" folder.
- In the address bar of your Windows explorer click on "AppData".
- Open the "Local" folder.
- Delete the "Origin" folder inside the "Local" folder.
- Restart your PC. > test
- Close Origin completely.

Unfortunately no dice. ☹️
I'll try support again I suppose.

Can I check what region you're in, and whether you use a VPN? I'm curious also whether timing is a factor, approximately when did you add the game to your account?
On my side, like the others here, it's showing up between Earth and the Firefight pack. - 5 years ago
I too, cannot find the extended dlc under the extra content tab on Origin (PC). And from what I've read here all you get from EA is that "it isn't free DLC" from CS, this guy Ataashi who was supposed to check in and inform us just up and vanished and the latest EA representative to comment (EA David) sprouted some nonsense about VPN (no I am not using any) and that it's there for him between such and such DLC.
Yeah, thank you very much David, you had it installed when it was free and it is shown on your account, GG. I and many other guys did not download it back then and it is NOT free for download, or even there now! Do you have anything else helpful for us or is it just EA proving once more why it's the most hated gaming company on the planet?
I have the same issue as most others. The Extended Cut is not listed in the Extra Content. I'm living in Switzerland.
I don't use VPN and I bought ME3 when it released, so it was added to origin when the game was merged to th platform. - KptKill5 years agoNewcomer
I'm having the same issue in the US, Customer support is completely unhelpful, just stating that its not a free download. I'm getting nowhere with my attempts to reach anyone who knows anything about this. Can anybody help?
