12 years agoAfter trying everyone else's suggestions and getting no results, here's what I did:
1. Log out of XBox Live and disconnect ethernet cable.
2. Shut off XBox with the power button on the console ("the button").
3. Turn on the XBox and bypass all "Sign-In" options.
4. Start the game. Press "Start". Bypass "Sign-In" options with "B".
5. Go into the in-game "Extra" menu, select "Online", change "auto" options to "on". (If options are already set to "on", select "off" option and proceed..
6. Exit menu and make sure changes have registered by quickly selecting another parameter like "sound", exiting THAT menu, returning to "Online" and seeing that selections have not changed.
7. Turn off XBox with The Button. Do NOT exit to the XBox Dashboard. (If you had to change option to "off" in Step 5, at this point turn off XBox with "The Button" and start back at Step 3.
8. Plug in ethernet cable and turn on XBox
9. Sign in with desired profile.
10. Start game. It should go through its usual sequence. It did for me. I really hope this helps you guys cuz I know it was a total pain in the butt for me.

I have the Xbox 360 version and this just started happening to me about a week ago. After a lot of trial and error, I discovered that only deleting the Retaliation Multiplayer DLC pack allows me to play the game. Of course, that means I have to play multiplayer without all of the Retaliation features, which means this is not a real fix.
Bioware, you're still selling new copies of ME3 and this bug is unacceptable. Please fix ASAP.
