Are we perhaps off-topic? From my reading of the OP, the issue is just that he recently got ME3 and cannot get the DLC (as many others have reported).
Not that he had ME3 previously and lost his progress data (characters, etc.).
Or perhaps I'm just confused.

Community Manager@DoctorDAM I was reading the MP part and honestly read the whole DLC thing wrong. I was thinking about the issues with data being missing, Still should not happen in MP it just wouldn't allow you to use it.
@EA_Shepard Sorry for not responding right away, I was fairly busy this week. But, @DoctorDAM is correct the issue I'm having is with the DLC being missing, not my character data. Honestly, I'm not sure why it works without the DLC, but I have had other players be able to join my MP matches before. From what I've read previously you used to be able to download the DLC separately from the EA website, not sure if it would work but if someone had the files I could try using them.
