Mass Effect 3 will not stop crashing

So I'm on Rannoch, and I've just exposed the Reaper hiding underneath the base. Legion procures ground transport, and we zoom off.

I know I'm <supposed> to kill the Reaper in ground combat, but instead the game crashes. Six times just today, at which point I gave up.

Is there any way I can get the game to stop crashing? I sure hope so.

    Yes.

    • Follow this manual to the letter to cleanly uninstall all NVIDIA components.
    • Install the graphics driver and GFE. > Go online.
    • Test.

If you are on a PC try to repair the game.

(Origin: Game Library > Right-click the game cover > Repair)

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

If that don't helps, create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

I repaired the game and restarted.

Now I'm getting "unable to authorize dlc" again. Why oh why will this not just work?

Anyway, I'm going to post a dxdiag with this reply. Hope we get some answers.

    So the game still crashes?

    • Hit Windows key and X.
    • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
    • Inside the PowerShell or CMD, enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
    • If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found reaped steps 1 & 2.
    • Inside the PowerShell or CMD, enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
    • The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
    • After it reaches 100%, hit Windows key and X again.
    • Again, choose “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command Prompt (Administrator)”
    • Inside the PowerShell or CMD, enter “sfc /scannow” without quotes. >ENTER.
    • Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.

    Okay,

dism ran without errors for both the /checkhealth and /restorehealth switches

sfc /scannow returns "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violation"

    Was this what you wanted?

    @holger1405

    Here's what I did:

    Downloaded GeForce driver

    Downloaded DDU

Restarted in Safe Mode (without networking, so was completely offline)

While in Safe Mode ran DDU to force an uninstall of graphic drivers

Restarted again, this time in Normal Mode

Reinstalled GeForce Driver and GeForce Experience using the newly downloaded driver

Ran Mass Effect 3 to see if it worked - Mass Effect 3 runs, but still getting an "unable to authorise DLC" error.

    Uninstalled Mass Effect 3

Reinstalled Mass Effect 3 (still in progress as I write this)

And that's where I am now. Hope I got this right.

Edit: as of 17:09 PST, Mass Effe ct 3 is installed and works without error. About time!

Thank you for your help, Holger1405, I appreciate it quite profusely.
