Mass Effect Andromeda Not Launching Through EA Play

Hello,

Installed and played Andromeda for 5 hours. Since yesterday unable to launch the game and receiving following message in EA Desktop:

"Your game failed to launch
An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later."

What I tried already in last day:

- clear EA Desktop cache

- remove and reinstall EA Desktop

- remove and reinstall EA Desktop & Andromeda

- switch off Windows Antivirus & Firewall

- reinstall VCC 2010,12,13,15 libraries 

Nothing from above helped.

Was in contact with EA support but got just link to old post which no one solving the issue and excuse like EA Desktop still in Beta we will fix etc in translation we don't know what the issue is, what to do and we don't care...

Does anybody know how to fix it?

    Hi,

    does not. I have Andromeda via EA Play subscription, not purchased via Origin.

    Anyway I resolved the issue by myself. If somebody would have same issue just setup MassEffectAndromeda.exe properties to run under Administrator privileges and in Window 7 compatibility mod (tried Vista SP2 worked as well).

    MassEffectAndromeda.exe can be found in Folder:

    C:\Program Files\EA Games\Mass Effect Andromeda

    For any reason my old saves won't work anymore but that's not big deal as just played 5h, only.

    From time to time has a DX11 crash, this issue has in before, as well. Any idea what could cause this crashes?

    Have Radeon 5700, latest Adrenalin driver, gpu and cpu isn't OC'd, W10Pro 20H2, updated.

    What crashes is the app and it just does not work on windows 10 or 11, many have tried and wasted their time. Play it on Xbox cloud free. No mods but no aggravation. You will get a message blaming your 8gb sli video cards, when it crashes, then you will see the app crashed and all the hours you put in unable to load any of the games. If they cared, they would include a launcher with the game. Not through an outdated crappy app. Don't reconfigure your computer and trash it for a game that you can play online with XBOX cloud.

    Andromeda works flawless for me on Windows 11, as it did on Windows 10.  Jfyi.


    But because this is an old thread that's been inactive for over 2 years, I am going to lock it to prevent necro-posting.


    Feel free to create a new thread if you have a qestion.
