Mass Effect Andromeda"Burn in" Bug

Another bug in Mass Effect Adromeda that I can't find a fix for. Or even a post from someone with the same problem. Maybe one of you kind people can help or point me in the right direction to get this fixed.

Anytime I talk to an NPC and the camera control is taken away from me I get faded image of the first frame of each cut in that cutscene. Not sure what the technical name for this bug would be but I can best describe it as burn in of an image, but every time the camera changes angles in any cutscene a new "burn in" image appears.

The biggest problem with this bug is that the last image to be "burned in" stays even after the cutscene and the only way to get it to go away is to load my latest save.

Hopefully someone can help me with this.

  • I was actually having the same issue. I seemed to have fixed it by changing one of the graphics settings. Go to Settings > Graphics and then scroll all the way to the bottom until you see "FRAMEBUFFER FORMAT" and then set it to "HALF16 (64 bits)." That seems to have solved the issue for me so let me know if that works.

EDIT: Problem came back after playing for a while longer. Seems like that made it better but didn't eliminate it 100% so I'm not sure what the best solution is.
