I preordered Mass Effect Legendary on PC download. I was supposed to be able to download it yesterday. I purchased it on 3/26/2021, yet when I try to download it I get a failed error. I have submitted tickets and talked to 2 agents who assured me that the item wouldn't be processing much longer. That I had plenty of time before tomorrow! What in the world is going on?? I want it on my PC, because I prefer it to console...at this point I think I am going to have to refund it and get it on my PS4. Is there anyway to release the download? I am worried that come tomorrow, I still wont be able to play. I have bought plenty of games with Origin. I JUST bought Skyrim on my PC, a couple of weeks ago. I had no problem with it. So why with this, is there a problem?

And yes, as soon as I entered the DL code it downloaded just fine.

I want to say thank you, after fighting with Origin for almost 24 hours and why my download wouldn't work even after doing all the steps of clearing my cache and restarting my computer. Finally went and check and saw my pre-order status was still pending so I canceled it and went to Steam instead. Also want to add, my pre-order wasn't recent it was made the same week it was available for pre-order.

I'm glad you got it figured out!! Origin is so glitchy.

Never mind. I canceled it and preordered it with Gamestop for digital download. I won't use origin again.

I had this issue and I fixed it by restarting Origin.

If you've tried that and it didn't work, first try rebooting your PC, and if that still doesn't work, clear your Origin cache.

Never mind. I canceled it and preordered it with Gamestop for digital download. I won't use origin again.

I have uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled. I cleared the cache too. I just canceled the order, and bought the digital download through Gamestop.

@princeslolypopI did not heave any problems with the pre-loading on PC on origins.Exacly at 6:00 EEST i started to download it and in 50minutes i was finished with no error. I the purchased the game on 4.5.2021.It could heave been a problem with your network conection or something like that if restarting pc/origin did not work.

My download and upload speeds were fine. I checked those too. I talked with the chat people, it was because it wasn't processed on their end still. I just canceled it, and it went through immediately on Gamestop. I got my download code already.

The problem wasn't a downloading problem. It was a processing problem on Origins end. It was stuck in process land for weeks. It released the download on my app, but it wouldn't let me download it because the system said still processing.
