mass effect mouse keeps objects marked in the menu.

When i scroll with the cursor over any object in the menu, the last object is still marked when i move over to any other part of the screen. I cant proceed from the face creation to any other other part of the game because when i want to end the creation the game will always open the last creation point i was working on. What can i do? I play on Windows 10. Sorry for my terrible english.
