Mass Effect won't launch in Origin on Windows 8.1 Pro

I Bought the Mass Effect Trilogy on Origin and had no problems until my ME2 crashed randomly mid mission and then after that it never worked again. ME1 and ME3 work fine still just not ME2 Operating...

I can't believe this actually worked... but hey, glitches happen anywhere.

So I right clicked the game portrait in Origin, and selected Game Properties.

I checked the box saying "Disable Origin in game" and now it launches. Go figure.

Hope it works for you as it worked for me.
