ME Andromeda Graphics Issues

I downloaded andromeda  a day or two ago and I can not play it with the screen screwed up. I'm not sure what is going on. I load into to a previous save or make a new game a the screen acts like I'm inside an asset or something. I see lines and textures and that's it, I can move around, though I can't see were I'm going. I can shoot, jump, play tetris, all that but I can't see a dang thing i even tried multi player and the same thing. I toggled everything in the settings to fix it. tried  to repair it. even uninstalled the game and do a fresh install Nothing helped. 6 hours of downloading this game twice and I'm no closer to playing it again. I can't even screen shot what I'm seeing. It's just turns out black.

help please?

    • Make sure Origin or Steam are closed.
    • Go into your "C:\Users\>your user name<\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save" folder.
    • Move the "ProfOpts_profile" file and the "ProfOpts" file  to your desktop.
    • Test.

Could you post a screenshot of the full monitor?

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply.

If you use Windows 7 also go to your Reliability monitor > Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time and copy and paste or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER” and look if it has entries for the game you have trouble with.

If yes double click at the last entry for the game executable, copy the info to the clipboard, and save it to a text file.

You can attach the DxDiag text file you created (and the “Reliability monitor” text file as well) to your post in the “Reply” window with the “Choose File” button.

  • That's another screen shot of what I see in game. That's it. As for the perfmon window there is nothing related to the game. Xbox bar maybe, but, I'm playing it through Origin not xbox. I just updated my nvidia drivers and no change. I've played this game on this set up back when it first came out. I just wanted to play it again before Legends come out in a couple months

@Orchid82858 so it seems that my camera is extremely zoomed in. I loaded and earlier save and now I can make out a rock face in the distance but as a pan around it's kinda like using a telescope that's not adjusted right.

  • Fixed. Thank you so much for your help. I wasn't even sure were to begin on this one. Usually I can fix a lot of stuff but I had no clue on this one. I really appreciate your help.
