ME1 - MOD's & Mod-Information

Hello,

here my Information about: How to install ME1 with some mods. I wrote it in german (for me!), try to translate it (for you). Hope it helps a few people who want to play with mods. It took me some time to get all this information. 😪

Also: I have found a few nice links to ME1 mods. You should know: There are NOT really a lot of ME1 mods out there .... :-) But I love my (few) mods really and they "make my game". 🐱

How you could install a ME1 game, with mods:

(- TuneUp made a little check)

- ME1 installing, through Origin (make a "hook" at "Install game Updates" in Origin adjustment)

- Start the game (make 16:9 )

- Looking for Game-Updates (rightclick ME1 Cover in Origin)

- ME1 repair (rightclick on ME1 Cover in Origin)

- Again: ME1 repair (rightclick on ME1 Cover in Origin)

- Start the game (Grafic adjustment)

- Going to "Documents" and copy/save the ME-folder.

Go to your hard disk (it's often C: ) and copy/save the ME-folder.

You do this because with this files you can restore your game to "vanilla" if you have problems or don't like a mod.

- In the Config-Menu from the MassEffectConfig.exe (ME folder / Binaries) clear the Cache (repair function)

- LAA install(you need this for the MEUITM mod)

- MEUITM install

- Make a new tree in ME3explorer ( https://me3explorer.github.io/ - you make a tree in the "Texplorer section" and will take  a lot of timeeee and it crashes often)

- "Updates for games" disable (in Origin)

- Install the small mods with ME3Explorer

(- Savegames: copy into the savegame folder)

- BioEngine.ini modify (look at the MEUITM mod)
