ME:LE cannot import character from 1 to 2.

Greetings,

My wife has been playing ME1 from the legendary edition which she finished last night (Went through end credits and trophy was awarded).  

Though when she started ME2 and went to import character there was no save file.  When she went back to ME1 she had to fight Saren (Reaper controlled) again.  She did it again but still nothing to import from.

I suggested loading a manual save instead of just resuming....still nothing.

We are playing the PS4 version of the Legendary edition.  I myself didn't have any issues when I imported my character to 2.

If anyone can help I would be very much appreciative as she is very disappointed.

Understandable for sure.  When you replayed the Reaper!Saren fight, did you then allow the following cutscene and credits to roll through to the end?  I’m not sure when the endgame save is created, but I always let the credits roll.  I like the music XD.

I always suggested that she let the credits play through to the end but from what I have read is the particular save file is created before the last cutscene (Normandy flies off) and after you make your last choice.

I even suggested deleting the auto save and loading from manual but it doesn't register that the game is completed even though trophy was awarded.  Thus with that no save being carried over to ME2.

I finished ME3 last night so might try re-installing unless my wife just wants to play on with her ME2 fresh game.
