I've read other people having this issue in other threads as well. Apparently, some said that you now need 7500 ems to get the "shepard breathing" ending. I can't confirm this, since I'm holding off from playing for now until they fix some of these annoying bugs. Whatever the case, the devs really need to look into this and make some adjustments.

I'm gonna have to give this a go then. Because my ems is definitely not 7.5k+

The issue here is that the devs were supposed to reduce the EMS requirement for the "good ending" to make up for the lack of multiplayer. However, that not the case. The requirement is still absurdly high and requires a 100% completionist playthrough to unlock the best ending. Something's definitely not right.
Doing pretty much every side quests in ME1,2,3 (missed no more than 5 after buying what I missed at the Spectre Terminal in ME3) and I'm at 7893 after Horizon. I did scan every available system to100% in ME3 and it makes a huge difference as although the varies asset you recover can be anywhere from 10 to 100pts or more. They do add up to quite a bit.
I mean the endings themselves are well, you can PM me if you want to discuss them but yeah, you would need to have way more than those War Assets points in order to unlock all endings, did you cured the Genophage with Wrex and saved the Dalatrass with Thane?
