Besides I dislike the P.A.W compared to my carnifex pistol which deals a pretty mean amount of damage for a pistol ! Add disruptor dmg and its pretty nasty. Headshots ftw. I never let it run out of ammo so even tho I have a low assault rifle equipped I never use it. Just gotta know the maps and how to skirt past the ammo boxes on the way past.
I do think a Carnifex X (much like a Disciple X) is still a potent weapon in gold matches.
And I am pretty sure no-one who adds boosts (and has gear euqipped) with such a weapon should be kicked out of the lobby.
But I understand that characters that don't meet a reasonable threshold of weapon/equipment, boosts or level are not liked in gold lobby.
As I pointed out above in another post, how should they ever learn / know about it? The tooltip is misleading, just being level 18 is not sufficient.
Other factors are as important.
Not that players who exceed every reasonable threshold are good team players btw ... without voice chat coordinated team play is more a game of chance.
I'm one who is really against kicking anyone. For me the minimum of 300 APEX is fine. Level 1 and like 10 APEX is questionable but it depends on the rest of the team. If it's all level 1 and low APEX - which doesn't usually happen anymore at this stage - then I'm going to leave. Kicking someone for using underpowered guns or low level chars is kind of a douchebag thing to do. All I care about is that the team fully extract for the extra creds and at wave 7 it's therefore handy to keep at least one revive kit.

When you join a game and can't do anything because enemies wont die/teleport/shoot thru walls and you rubberband like hell, the host really, truly needs a kick.. :D don´t host games with a 56kbps. Also "VOIP disabled" from online-> voip activation and you don´t hear anyone not depending on their mic settings?

@SalarianLawrence That's one reason to kick, but by that time I have left the game already. Notice it in the 1st round? Bye match.
I'm not going to wait for people to kick the host and on a loading screen for host migration.

Yeah i tend to stick around and wait for the match to fail to try to kick the host for education, for wasting my precious consumables :d
I assume the host also suffers from such lag-problems when i do in such a game? Or are they unnaffected? Never had anything but fps lag when selfhosted tho...atleast to not such extremes that you just simply can´t do anything in the match.
ps. and my internet ain´t exactly top of the line...like 20mbs DL tops / 6 UL tops

I was about to post that. For the love of god, please do not host if your internet isn't amazing! It pisses me off so much when I join a game and it turns out it's a total lagfest. I'm mostly pissed at the developers for hiding the ping, with their "out of sigh, out of mind" mentality.

Ok, just tried turning voice chat in settings back on and yes, next game someone has an open mic 🙂
Which means, if you turn off voice chat in your settings it turns off all voice chat communication (from teammates to you).
Will utilise now mute feature after pressing esc in-game.

Indeed, there is no display ping option. Not even by console command? Does anybody know?
And while we are at it: if you become host by migration, please check and change the mission's settings!
I don't need to play the same map vs the same enemies over and over.
So I usually drop into another lobby.
