Multplayer - allowed altered singleplayer game content?

Greetings, I am wondering if I would be putting my account in danger, should I fire up a multiplayer session after my game has been extensively modified for singleplayer purposes. Using ME3Explorer...

My understanding is that it is used if you host.  Probably doesn't matter if you don't, and there are likely things that if you modify (weapon damage) that can get you kicked from the servers
