Sounds like you have a sync issue between your XBox and XBox Live account. Is there a way to force a refresh?
If so, that would be more of a Microsoft issue, rather than EA/Bioware.
Assuming you are North American, this would be a good place to start:
i have had no other issues with any other awards on the system and no other other problems why would it be a synce issue when i get stuff just fine on a day to day basis so you telling me that ea or bioware cant fix this if you check google their ar a LOT of people having this problem wirh only mass effect 3 and their are forums on xbox, bioware, and ea with this problem and they cant get this fixed
I'm saying when Local data says one thing, and the Cloud says another, it's a Synchronization issue.
This Answer HQ is a place for fellow users to help eachother out. Users are unable to change the code and fix it, nor can we look at the code or know where the problem is exactly.
As a user, stuck with inconsistent data, there should be a way to refresh or push the data back to the cloud.
One method of doing so is to repeat the Achievement, which you have done. (That is from Local to Cloud)
The other method is to have the Cloud ask your local device for an update. Which would be a refresh or re-sync.
I have never done this before and am not sure if it is possible, but the owners of the cloud (Microsoft) would know.
There may be a way to force the reward to your account by EA, and to do that you would talk to an EA Game Advisor
It is entirely possible that in the game code to unlock achievements, an error case was not handled. That would be the bug, gather all information on it and report it to EA/Bioware. But that will not help you get your helmet.
Well written, tested, and published software has a bug every 10,000 lines of code. A major game like Mass Effect 3 probably has millions of lines of code, so there are a lot of bugs to be found.
ok i have spoken to both ea and microsoft twice the case number for ea is 05518158 and the case number for microsoft is 1184713053 both have told me to call each other and both tell me they are unable to help me i need to push this to the top as this cannot be the awnser i pay hard earned cash for these things and to be told i cant help you you have to call this company and that company back and forth im not mad but i really need a awnser from one or the other as i have been told their is no fixing this from both companys....so in the long run it is not exceptable to have to deal with a permanent problem their must be a fix for this
