The problem arises when there are too many biotics in the team, while biotics are fun to use against regular foes you are extremely limited and have to be very skilled to use your abilities for maximum efficiency when facing shielded and armored foes, especially when these appear in numbers. I love observers due to mainly being a sniper, they are easy to pick out one at a time while having escape routes and means to fend off attackers if jumped. Proximity mines, grenades, turbocharge and stealth are all good for getting out of ambushes while sniping.
Biotics are limited in weapon weight, my kineticist can currently carry a Hurricane and that´s it. It makes me superb vs certain foes but I feel at times utterly useless against others ... unfortunately these are the foes that usually cause the most problems.
