New Collector's weapon - **bleep** fast and **bleep**.. useless. What's the point?

Well, it is there to fill a niche. The unlimited ammo feature is good for many, and they are very stable and accurate guns. The damge (and on some, clip size) leave something to be desires, but weekly balance changes exist for that.
