No 5.1 Sound in Mass Effect 3 with Dolby Digital Live

Hello all, i can not get surround sound working in Mass Effect 3. I am using an Onboard Realtek Soundcard with enabled Dolby Digital Live. I get sound out of the center and the front left and right...

    Ok, the problem here is that ME3 supports Dolby Digital out of the box.

    Did you tried to disable Dolby Digital Live and passthrough the signal?

      I dont know how to passthrough a dolby digital signal from a pc game. In Windows i can only switch between DDL, DTS-Connect and different 2 Channel Standardformats at the SPDIF Playback device. And if i set any 2 Channel Standardformat i get sound but it´s only stereo too.

        You wroth that there is a 7.1 sound configuration displayed in your "MassEffect3Config" utility. Do you have another sound device connected to your PC? And if so how is this device configured?

        In the "MassEffect3Config" utility under "Sound" and "Sound devices", is your SPDIF output listed?
