Omega dlc for ps3 crash

I've just installed the omega dlc and whenever I try to take the elevator after finding out that Nyreen is the leader of the Talons, my game tells me that ''There has been a disc read error. Please quit game and restart.''

I've tried to restart the game, but to no avail. I've also tried to reinstall the dlc.

BTW I have the mass effect trilogy if that can help fix the problem.
