Hello all,
I recently had this issue myself after purchasing the Mass Effect Trilogy for PC. ME1 and ME2 installed perfectly without a problem, yet ME3 asked me to enter a product key after activating all three games. Here's a workaround that worked for me - just leaving this here in hope that people with a similar issue in the future will be able to make this quick fix.
- Close any instances of Origin that may be running on your computer
- Backup your 'Origin Games' directory (if applicable) - I just deleted ME1 and ME2 and am now reinstalling those also
- Uninstall the Origin Client from Control Panel
- Head to https://www.origin.com/en-au/download and re-download the latest version of Origin
- Install and apply any updates if prompted
- BEFORE SIGNING IN - MAKE SURE YOUR ORIGIN ACCOUNT EMAIL IS VERIFIED
- Enter your login details and uncheck 'Remember Me'
- Navigate to your game library and hover your cursor over the ME3 cover
- Select 'Download' and the game should begin the download process without asking for a product key
Let me know if this works for you guys. If none of the above does I suggest contacting EA Support and asking for a new product key, have heard in the past that they do allow new ones for users who activated the product as part of the Trilogy.

Hey @SageSparten, the codes stay connected with the Origin account, once you redeem them for the first time. Do you have another Origin account?
If that's not the case, you will have to contact an advisor, and they will be able to check were the code is registered and help you.
