Am I the only pathfinder who can work remnant tech of can all the SAM's do that? Why aren't they out there helping me restart vaults as I add/rescue them? I know there's only one Tempest, but couldn't one of the factions stop shuttle production just long enough to build another?
Also, please don't turn the patfinders into the smurfs where they all have their own speciality. I don't mind them all working on different things, but that should just be what's happening now and not a requirement to join the club.
They did end doing their own thing, but based on what happened in the game. Sarissa uses the stolen Kett map data to take the fight to the Kett, the Turian sounds like he's fighting a guerrilla war against them while the Salarian is using full infiltrator. They don't _have_ to do anything about the Remnant tech because Ryder is handling it perfectly fine.
They don't have to, but am I the only/chosen one? I thought finding a place to live was everyone's top pathfinding priority.
The Kett are the overwhelming threat to having a home (and keeping the Nexus safe). Do they really add a lot if you heard that one of them unlocked the vault on a world you won't visit?
Lol! I think I was there when we defeated the Kett. I managed to fit that into my busy schedule of flipping vault switches. Do you have any idea if they can even work remnant tech? I don't.

Eh, you also do a lot of diplomating with the Angara. It isn't like activating all of the vaults is most of what you do, it's just what you do while exploring and making those planets home. You can't even put the outpost on Kadara and Eledaan without dealing with local politics, after all.

I know, and enjoy, that I get to do lots and lots of different things. I hope the other pathfinders can as well. I hope it is an organization more like a meeting of equals at the round table where we all can pretty much stand in each other's shoes, with some specialities, than forming a team composed of specialities.
Maybe that's saying it better.
I don't see why SAM couldn't at least teach other SAM's how to interact with remnant if they don't already know how to do that.
If they want to regard me in the first game as some sort of loose mentor (by time spent in the field) or remnant specialist (or temporary de facto leader of the pathfinding team even) that's okay - BUT it should be a meeting of peers, a band of equals, a clubhouse in Tann's basement where I'm not the president.

Wow, that's what I got from the Pathfinder 'meeting' in the Nexus. That each of them are explorers, but they are showing their (and their race's) specialities in how they approach their pathfinding.

But you never answer the question of pathfinders and remnant tech. 😕
