I have the same problem and tried all of the above
the interesting this is i have the original cd and the game was working just fine a while back
And now that i want to replay the mass effect 2 has stopped working pops out
i reinstalled it through cd and origins
i updated all the physics and c++ softwares
AND STILL NOTHING!!!
