You can't have same gylph in same area. In your case, the upper-right hand corner.
On the 5x5's don't just try to solve them vertically or horizontally. In many cases, you can solve one of the areas. Most often one of the opposite area's will have glyphs that will lock down the positions of the missing glyphs in the area you're solving. Thus solving one area. Once you have one area solved, the others fall into place.
Some questions to ask:
Which horizontal's, verticals, or area's are filled in the most?
Which glyphs can be placed in the missing slots of the most filled in "area's"?
What glyphs directly interfere (due to the no duplicates rule) with the horizontal, vertical, or area I am studying?
Can an interfering glyph be used in a different position in the area I am studying?
Repeat these questions over and over until the puzzle is solved.
