[PC] Mass Effect 1 Will not launch Giving Admin Privileges Error

I've been trying to boot up ME1 on my PC for 4 days now and I'm beyond frustrated. I've spent hours trying to find a fix and nothing works. I just recently got a new computer (AMD) and every time I boot up ME1 it asks for admin privileges, shows the small splash screen, then immediately crashes and takes me to my EA library. I've tried uninstalling both ME1 and the EA app, turning read only off, enabling admin privileges in properties for both, and so on. I didn't have this problem when I last played and both ME2 and ME3 work perfectly fine.

I'm sick to death of this garbage app causing problems and want a solution.

And, in case the title isn't clear enough, this is NOT for the legendary edition.

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

There are no ME specific errors in your DxDiag.

    • Try to repair the game.

(Origin: Game Library > Right-click the game cover > Repair)
(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

      Then

    • Make sure EA app and/or Steam are closed.
    • Go to your "Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect" folder and move the "Save" folder and the "Config" folder to your desktop. > Test.

    If that don't helps:

    1. Hit Windows key and X.
    2. Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Command prompt (Administrator),” or "Windows Terminal (Administrator)", whichever option is offered.
    3. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Checkhealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
    4. If errors are found, notify us. If no errors were found reaped steps 1 & 2.
    5. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth” without quotes. > ENTER.
    6. The system will start validating soon. If it throws an error, please list it here.
    7. After it reaches 100% reaped steps 1 & 2
    8. Inside PowerShell, CMD or Terminal enter “sfc /scannow” without quotes > ENTER.
    10. Post the message you receive at the end of the processes here.
