@EA_Shepard, I noticed you edited this post earlier, found any solution for this?

@Einheriji I edit just about everything for tracking. Honestly, it's been forever since I've logged into this game and done what the OP has. There isn't a way for us to make changes though, so if anything is done it would be within your game. Basically doing what the OP did and respec.
I will have to test it out to see what happens but if there aren't the correct amount of points being returned we would really have to find a way to sync it and try it again. The game has no more support and for MP there isn't a reset tool.
I will try to do it myself and see what happens. Ultimately we would need a lot more players saying it happen to get looked at on the backend.

For me this looks like some false entry in database, regarding number of skill points or maybe available number of skills, as the game keeps on recalculating it this way I believe based on some data.
The number of skills that is missing, according to multiple sources, is always 4 points, so it looks like game has stored the data about current number of copies of character (for example, XX, meaning max), but counts it as if it was XIX.
Someone on other website wrote that they "fixed" it (somehow very poorly as it looks like) in a way that they restarted progress (level) on characters, so it could have meant some update on database side where they recalculated it.Also, as I enabled network trafficking, I could see encoded HTTP requests going to server with some unreadable data. Since Apex HQ app has same number of skill points used, I presume there are false entries sent to database, with incorrect number of skills that keeps on getting back to us.
Kind of weird that this game has no support but your in-game purchases are still available for it, so therefore, it should be working as intended.- 2 years ago
At the moment I have not found a solution yet either. My Turian Soldier is still missing those 4 points, even after having reset the character back to level 1 again another 2 or 3 times (maybe more, I forget... but at the very least 2-3 times at this point), and then leveling the character back up to level 20 each time.
I figured that since all my characters are level 20, I could keep resetting the Turian Soldier back to level 1 and keep trying to see if I get lucky and the game bugs my solider back to having the right amount of skill points. XD
Taken a break from it for the past 2 weeks though I think it is, since I am collecting points for shotguns and felt another character worked better doing that than the Turian Soldier. I will eventually get back to reseting the Turian Soldier to level 1 and leveling them back up to 20 again, when I decide to collect weapon points for other weapon types... but yeah... for now, I do not know of any solution to this bug... so trying to out-bug the bug or something with reseting the character and leveling them up to 20 again, over and over, is the only thing I feel I can do at the moment on the off chance that I get lucky or something. XD
Edit: To be clear though, I have no idea if this actually works. The reseting to level 1, leveling up to 20, and then reseting to 1 again, repeat, in the hopes of the game bugging back my Turian Soldiers missing 4 skill points. It is just the only thing I can think of at the moment to try.
What it has done though, is make me very reluctant to ever reset any other character to level 1, ever (same with my friend whom I play with, who has decided to not reset any of his characters either, due to not wanting to get this bug on any of his characters, since he for the moment has no character with this bug). On the chance that doing so might bug another character to be missing skill points. Which is a shame, because I do seem to recall that reseting characters to level 1 again and leveling them up might give you additional Apex rating points (I could be wrong about that though). So yeah... not going to reset any other character ever unless a real proper solution, or an actual bugfix update to the game, to this particular bug shows up.

@Einheriji Wanted to follow up on this one. Are you playing through Steam or the EA app? If you played on both, did you ever switch?
Can you send me a screenshot of the character you are having an issue with?
@RhodrynCallahorn Were you ever playing on Steam or just the EA app?

Firstly, I played on EA, later on Steam, later on EA to check some stuff out, then this problem did occur, now on Steam again. Though people started to report this issue way before Steam could sell EA games.
I tried every approach so far, nothing gained from it.
I attached screenshots, one character has 78 skill points, second 82, same level etc.- EA_Shepard2 years ago

@Einheriji Thank you. I sent it to the team so that they could check out on their end. Will update you when they let me know what is happening!
Cheers!

I bought the game on Steam (back in april of 2023), so that is where I have been launching and playing it from.
I do have the EA desktop app as well (where the game is on my list, and is shown as installed (with a steam label up in the left corner of the games image), due to having connected it to Steam I assume, since I believe I had to connect the game to my EA account to be able to play (the multiplayer?)... not sure though, it was 11 months ago that I bought the game, so I could be remembering that wrong).
I almost always have the EA app open when I play the game though, mostly as a just in case thing. I know I do not have to have it open though, since the EA app will partially launch anyway when I start the game in Steam.
And a pretty long time ago, before my Turian Soldier lost his 4 skill points, I did try and start the game through the EA app (me and my friend were having problems connecting to each other in multiplayer, so tried different things to get it to work). But I quickly realized that when I started the game through the EA app, it started it in Steam. And even if I had steam completely closed down (right click on the Steam icon and picking "Exit Steam"), and started it in the EA app, the EA app would start up my Steam app, and then launch the game through it. And no matter if I started the game in Steam or in the EA app, I will have the text at the top of the EA app saying "Some features have been disabled because the EA app launched from another application." So it felt unnecessary to start the game in the EA app, and have both before and since then always started it in Steam.

@RhodrynCallahorn I have sent them al the info, and they are looking into this still. Having the game through another platform other than the EA app can get tricky sometimes. When there is an update on it I will let you know.
Cheers!
