@EA_Shepard, I noticed you edited this post earlier, found any solution for this?
@Einheriji Wanted to follow up on this one. Are you playing through Steam or the EA app? If you played on both, did you ever switch?
Can you send me a screenshot of the character you are having an issue with?
@RhodrynCallahorn Were you ever playing on Steam or just the EA app?

Firstly, I played on EA, later on Steam, later on EA to check some stuff out, then this problem did occur, now on Steam again. Though people started to report this issue way before Steam could sell EA games.
I tried every approach so far, nothing gained from it.
I attached screenshots, one character has 78 skill points, second 82, same level etc.- EA_Shepard2 years ago

@Einheriji Thank you. I sent it to the team so that they could check out on their end. Will update you when they let me know what is happening!

I bought the game on Steam (back in april of 2023), so that is where I have been launching and playing it from.
I do have the EA desktop app as well (where the game is on my list, and is shown as installed (with a steam label up in the left corner of the games image), due to having connected it to Steam I assume, since I believe I had to connect the game to my EA account to be able to play (the multiplayer?)... not sure though, it was 11 months ago that I bought the game, so I could be remembering that wrong).
I almost always have the EA app open when I play the game though, mostly as a just in case thing. I know I do not have to have it open though, since the EA app will partially launch anyway when I start the game in Steam.
And a pretty long time ago, before my Turian Soldier lost his 4 skill points, I did try and start the game through the EA app (me and my friend were having problems connecting to each other in multiplayer, so tried different things to get it to work). But I quickly realized that when I started the game through the EA app, it started it in Steam. And even if I had steam completely closed down (right click on the Steam icon and picking "Exit Steam"), and started it in the EA app, the EA app would start up my Steam app, and then launch the game through it. And no matter if I started the game in Steam or in the EA app, I will have the text at the top of the EA app saying "Some features have been disabled because the EA app launched from another application." So it felt unnecessary to start the game in the EA app, and have both before and since then always started it in Steam.

@RhodrynCallahorn I have sent them al the info, and they are looking into this still. Having the game through another platform other than the EA app can get tricky sometimes. When there is an update on it I will let you know.
Cheers!

From what I have been able to see through googling around previously when the bug originally happened to me, and double checking right now as well, this bug has been around since pretty much day one of the game launching back in 2017, so well befor the game was available on steam to buy (which happened in 2020). So I do not think Steam it's self, and playing it through Steam, is the problem here, it more seems to be something in the original coding of some section of the game that is causing this.
But, as you said, there can still be problems that are caused by playing the game on another platform, this particular one just does not seem to be one of them.
In any case, I do want to thank you for all the work you have been doing here with this. Especially since Andromeda is a game which probably no longer has a dedicated group of developers who constantly work on it like it had in the first X number of years. So it can't be easy to get the gears rolling on getting solutions and updates/bugfixes for a game which is at this stage in it's "life". So no matter if something happens from this or not, I do appreciate the work you are doing @EA_Shepard. 🙂
