Pre Loading
So on PC i have seen that steam lets you pre install games sometimes and you just have to do the day 1 patch to play the game when it unlocks. I have not heard if this is a thing on Xbox because i've...
Pre-Loading now 🙌
Are you Pre-Loading on xbox or ps4?
Who are you asking?
From what i know from EA support team the release date for all is 14 may 6:00EEST (check and se the diference in time for your zone)The pre-load date and hour was 100% sync with what they said may 12 at 6:00 EEST so i think the release date will be the same.
Im asking anyone really. Im just trying to Pre-load on xbox but it isnt working yet

How exactly are you 'trying' to pre-load?
You mean checking for updates?
Yeah im just wondering as ive seen people on the ME Subreddit Preloading the game but mine is still stuck at 21GBS
Thanks for telling me
@ColeZGamer It's not 'stuck'. You've had the launcher and Mass Effect [1]. 2 and 3 are to follow.
Alright
I hate this, there a lot of streams on youtube right now people that heave access to the game how did this happen?
This is crazy, where is preload on Xbox?
From what i can see on PC the pre-load option downloaded all 3 games but the problem is that some people can play it 2 days early(right now) because of the country they live in or something we don't know and the support team will not say anything about this.
For anybody still wondering: https://twitter.com/masseffect/status/1392557310980001792
"Preload is now available on all platforms! For Xbox players, Smart Delivery allows for a smaller preload, with ME2 & ME3 able to be downloaded from the launcher at release. #MassEffect"
I think Bioware don´t know what Preload means..
Yes.. Smart Delivery is fine. But I want make the decision if i download the whole Game or not. Preload means that i can download the whole Game, Mass Effect 1-3, before it is released.
Now i am forced to wait until Release that i can download the rest. That makes no sense.
It is not so bad for me personally but it is not a full Preload like on PC.. PS..
It is a Joke which i dont understand.
I'm puzzled.
Won't people want to play Mass Effect first?
The rest of the games will easily download by the time you leave the Citadel. 🙂
You underestimate how terrible my internet is. If I really wanted to I could probably finish ME1 faster than I could download 60GB.
15Mb/s is the best I can get in my area and I know there are others who have it worse.
With that said, I plan to do a thorough run of ME1 so I'll be fine.
Oh wow thats concerning. Preload on launch day? XD thats not even a preload then lmao, the whole point is to install the game ahead of time regardless of the size of the file so people in locations that dont have the top tier internet can spend days installing if they need to without affecting play time. If this game actually installs on launch day everyone with slow net gonna lose so much playtime XD
@SofaJockeyUK So the problem here from my view is that ive never seen a game that lets you play a game while it is installing on xbox. I see it all the time on pc where they have a % install that is required before you can launch and play the first portion of the game but on xbox the best ive ever seen myself was being allowed in to play the tutorial and then being told to wait for the rest.
Granted ive never seen 3 games remastered in a bundle and installed seperately before so I guess we can hope that ME1 is playable in its entirety while 2 and 3 install?
It sounds like yes, ME1 is 20gigs and is downloaded before launch day, and on launch day the rest being ME2 and 3 will download. Personally, this is a crappy idea, because not everyone will want to start with ME1 and instead play 2 or 3. I can understand a bit of this, but come on, if they let PC download 100gigs, they should at most give you the option on Xbox to download partial or all, but make it an OPTION.
I ve never seen that before and thanks for the update who must arrived yesterday and who have never existed
