I think that EA forgot that Mass Effect is a single player RPG with an unuseful multiplayer mode. Give us the Quarian Ark DLC the game deserves instead of this horde mode c r a p @sblantipodi I edited your thread title and I think it is pretty oblivious why. Please refrain form insults in the future.

I have seen people ask for a higher difficulty and there are MP players out there. I do want story dlc but I think it's fair the MP crowd gets some love as well.

I'll never understand why people like OP are losing their minds.Take a step back and look at the DLC schedule of ME3.Leviathan, the first proper DLC for SP came out after THREE MP DLCs had already been released - it also released on August 28th, which is the end of the summer. ME3 ALSO came out 2 weeks before Andromeda did (not the same year obviously). Let's give them atleast until Mid-September before losing our minds SP DLC, okay? Maybe if Kotaku et. al. hadn't lost their minds about animations, and then spent the last 4 months dragging the game through the mud, we would have seen content sooner. Just throwing that out there.This is the ME3 ending fiasco all over - Bioware was forced to spent like 2-3 months scrambling to put together Extended Cut which delayed DLC in the last game... why would this be any different when the most vocal minority lost themselves over animations and a trans character. Bioware has spent the last 3 months fixing those complaints.If people are gonna make a stink about something being fixed - and they spend time fixing it, you should be atleast willing to understand why other content might be delayed.

Seems a rather intolerant view.Many people like the multiplayer and Platinum is a difficulty setting people have asked for from the start.If you would like some single player DLC,this leg-kicking is not what I would call a successful strategy to achieve it.

ME3 was pretty decent, and the MP difficulties ran from bronze to plat there too 🙂 Good game mode for just blowing off steam in general (plus loot crates to use in SP). The vid did tease a Batarian though... in my opinion that's got to be a hint-hint-wink-wink-nudge-nudge for more than just an MP character 🙂 Just let them run by the schedule and all will be revealed.

ME3 was pretty decent, and the MP difficulties ran from bronze to plat there too 🙂 Good game mode for just blowing off steam in general (plus loot crates to use in SP). The vid did tease a Batarian though... in my opinion that's got to be a hint-hint-wink-wink-nudge-nudge for more than just an MP character 🙂 Just let them run by the schedule and all will be revealed.

Indeed. Considering the Batarians where essentially wiped out in the Milky Way after ME3 and not a single one has been in the game thusfar its an extremely strong hint. For a start, where DID the Batarian go in to cryo and travel to Andromeda? Its not on any of the Arks, this we know already. And there is no mention of them in the Nexus crew whatsoever.

I hate to think that BioWare is just adding MW species into Andromeda without any game lore behind their appearance. If so, you'll be playing as Shepard in Multiplayer, in no time.

I honestly think its a proper teaser for some DLC at some point. Simply because they could have added more characters and platinum without adding Batarians. The addition of them speaks of some serious intent behind it imo.

The Arks leave the milky way during the events of ME2 and before ME3. The Batarian Hegemony may have been considered to volatile or to risky to invite an entire Arks worth of them along on the journey but It does stand to reason that handfuls of talented, wealthy or connected members of the Batarian species could have found their way into cryo pods. Plus nobody can say they didn't send their own ships in a parallel or even unrelated mission to maybe stake a claim for the future. Anything is possible as far as bringing Milky Way species to Andromeda without breaking lore.
As for the thread topic the multiplayer is great and I look forward to the challenge. To bad you either do not enjoy it or are not good at it. Engineering platinum is a much easier feat than a whole single player DLC and I'd rather get at the increased while the multiplayer is still hot. The campaign isn't going anywhere it will be just as good today as it will in weeks or months.
How can you not like having a chance to play as the other races of the galaxies?
